- Our Mission
  - The Muslim Cemetery of Portland project represents far more than at first may be apparent. The Islamic Center of Portland strongly believes that the development of this facility will serve as an important regional anchor for our religious community. In creating a place of permanent rest dedicated exclusively for Muslims, the identity of Muslims in Portland Metropolitan area and South west Washington state area will be sustained.
    
    The Muslim Cemetery of Portland (MCOP) is an All Muslim burial place. It is a subsidiary of the Islamic Center of Portland (ICOP). ICOP is a non-profit organization registered with the State of Oregon and IRS under (501) (c) (3) for non-profit exemption. Its facilities and licenses belong to The Islamic Center of Portland. The cemetery is run and managed by members of the Board of Founders and the Board of Cemetery officers. The present Board volunteered to serve temporarily for the time being until the cemetery is done completely from its entire plan.
